The POCO X7 Pro has been recently introduced by POCO and it is a guaranteed flagship killer at this rate. Wanna know why? Well, it has around 1.7 million AnTuTu points…which is literally the same as the iPhone 16 series! Now let’s check this phone out further if it really is a good deal.

The features are absolutely amazing! As of the time of writing this mini-review, the POCO X7 Pro has now dethroned the POCO X6 Pro 5G as the best mid-range smartphone with the best price-to-performance ratio which is a huge feat by POCO themselves. If you cannot be beaten by others, then just beat yourself LOL.

The POCO X7 Pro is equipped with the latest MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultra, ensuring smooth multitasking and demanding gaming experiences. Its vibrant 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate delivers immersive visuals, while the 6000mAh SiC battery is extremely tanky – perfect for those long graphics gaming sessions. This is a significant improvement compared to its predecessor which only has 5000mAh battery capacity.

The device’s camera setup, featuring a 50MP main sensor, 8MP ultrawide lens, and 20MP selfie camera, is also decent, but it is a downgrade compared to the POCO X6 Pro 5G. Still, this is passable enough for its price point. You cannot be perfect without flaws right?

Is it a Good Choice?

Let’s not dilly-dally…it is a great choice in its price segment. Want the best mid-range phone for gaming and other demanding tasks? Grab the POCO X7 Pro. But if you would rather opt for a camera-centric device, look away. A phone cooler is also a must for its very powerful processor so keep that in mind.

Fishing for other choices at this price segment? Well, if you are more of a camera person, the Infinix ZERO 40 5G is a better choice with close enough gaming performance, and the Infinix GT 20 Pro has more gaming-oriented features(3.5mm headphone jack as well as bypass charging). Another choice for better cameras is its younger sibling, the POCO X7 5G. The POCO X7 Pro is more into raw hardware performance.

Points for Improvement for the POCO X7 Pro

There’s not much really, this phone is a gamer’s dream on a mid-range budget. If there’s anything, well there are the ads and the non-existent 3.5mm jack. Also, there are the downgraded cameras. We know that sacrifice is needed to maintain the competitive price-point but still, those are some key things that come into mind for improvements.
