ROG Xbox Ally Series Officially Launches in the Philippines

After weeks of teasers, ASUS ROG has officially launched the ROG Xbox Ally Series in the Philippines. Designed for hardcore Xbox fans and PC gamers, this next-generation handheld gaming console brings high-end performance, premium build quality, and advanced gaming integrations—all at a starting price of ₱36,995.

The lineup includes two variants: the ROG Xbox Ally (standard model) and the ROG Xbox Ally X, which packs even more power, storage, and battery life. Both models mark a new chapter in ASUS’s handheld gaming lineup following the success of the ROG Ally X (2024).

Built for Xbox Enthusiasts

Co-developed with Xbox, the ROG Xbox Ally Series merges console ergonomics with PC power. The design features contoured grips inspired by Xbox gamepads for superior comfort during extended play sessions.

The Xbox Ally measures 290.8 x 121.5 x 50.7 mm and weighs 670g, while the Ally X is slightly heavier at 715g. Both models sport a 7-inch Full HD IPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 16:9 aspect ratio, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, and DXC Anti-Reflection coating—ensuring crisp visuals even in bright environments.

Performance and Battery Power

Under the hood, the standard ROG Xbox Ally runs on an AMD Ryzen Z2 A processor paired with 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB SSD storage. It’s powered by a 60Wh battery and includes two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports, a UHS-II microSD card reader, and a 3.5mm combo jack.

Meanwhile, the ROG Xbox Ally X ups the ante with an AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme chip, 24GB LPDDR5X RAM, and a 1TB SSD. It also packs a massive 80Wh battery and includes advanced connectivity such as USB4 Type-C with DisplayPort 2.1, WiFi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.4.

Both handhelds run Windows 11, feature ROG Armory Crate SE, and come preloaded with the Xbox Game Bar for seamless console-style gaming.
