TECNO CAMON 30S Mini-Review: A Quick Overview
First off, the top thing that comes to mind with this is a couple of AI features, as well as a curved AMOLED display. In this price range, both of these aspects are scarce so this is a huge plus from TECNO.
Now unto its specs sheet ~ It’s a CAMON phone yes, it has several improvements compared to its other peers and the overall hardware is decent. The only thing that irks us is the suggested retail price which is quite high for a 4G smartphone but yeah, maybe it is due to its curved display and AI features.
TECNO CAMON 30S Mini-Review: Is it a good recommendation?
Arguably yes, if you prefer a 4G smartphone that is a jack-of-all-trades and master of none type of thing. CAMON phones are camera oriented smartphones but the TECNO CAMON 30S doesn’t quite cut it with the CAMON branding because of inferior hardware compared to other CAMON models but still, it is a decent choice to have for its price segment IF and ONLY IF it is on sale.
This is by far one of the cheapest smartphones with curved display but if you want an overall better smartphone, albeit with a flat AMOLED display, check out the TECNO SPARK 30 Pro. If you want a more gaming oriented smartphone, then check out the nubia Neo 2 5G. If you want a more stylish design, then check out the nubia Focus Pro instead. Just DYOR. But yeah, this phone is a decent choice.
Points for Improvement
Better hardware would be good. We think TECNO has done a great job with this smartphone and it will be hard to top it off, other than by their sister companies(lmao). Competition among the entry-level segment is great !
