Ray-Ban Meta and Oakley Meta smart glasses are scheduled to arrive through Philippine retailers on Nov. 10, according to local launch reports. The lineup spans everyday Ray-Ban frames, prescription-oriented optical styles and sport-focused Oakley models.

Buyers should check the exact frame and lens before paying. Reports disagree on the Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3 starting price, and a retailer listing shows a different figure for one specific model.

Which models are coming?

Unbox PH reports that the Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3 range includes Wayfarer, Aviator and Zena styles. It also identifies the Blayzer Optics and Scriber Optics Gen 2 frames as prescription-oriented options.

The Oakley lineup includes HSTN and Vanguard. Their designs target a sportier use case, but features and protection ratings vary by model. Check the exact product’s specifications if water resistance, fit or activity features matter to you.

Meta previously listed the Philippines among the markets set to receive Ray-Ban Meta, Ray-Ban Meta Optics and Oakley Meta glasses later in 2026. Its global announcement does not establish Philippine prices.

Reported Philippine starting prices

Unbox PH lists these figures for the Philippine launch:

  • Oakley Meta HSTN: ₱34,149.
  • Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3: ₱34,933.
  • Ray-Ban Meta Optics Gen 2: ₱36,501.
  • Oakley Meta Vanguard: ₱42,661.

Treat these as reported starting figures, not a guaranteed checkout price for every frame and lens. NoypiGeeks separately reports ₱34,149 for Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3, and the same figures for the other three models. The reason for the Gen 3 difference has not been established.

A Vision Express listing shows ₱37,990 for the Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer (Gen 3) in Black, SKU RW4011601S8750. When we checked on Nov. 6, all three lens options on that page were listed as sold out. These numbers may refer to different configurations, but that has not been verified.

Where to buy and what to ask

Local reports say Ray-Ban models will be sold through selected authorized dealers, including Vision Express, SM Department Stores, Sunglass Gallery, Eye Society, Sunglass Haven and Ideal Vision Center. Oakley availability is reported for selected Oakley, G-Force and Ideal Vision Center stores.

Ask the branch to confirm the exact model, lens, final price and stock. If you need prescription lenses, obtain a written quote that separates the frame from the lenses and fitting. Unbox PH reports official warranty support with the local release, so ask for the coverage, exclusions and repair terms in writing.

What about Meta AI and Tagalog?

Both Unbox PH and NoypiGeeks report that Meta AI gains Tagalog support with the local launch. That does not confirm that every AI feature, translation language or connected service works with every model, account and software version in the Philippines.

Ask the retailer to demonstrate the features you intend to use, including pairing with your phone. Available functions can depend on the glasses, companion app, account and connection.

TechPipino previously covered Meta’s Ray-Ban Display and Gen 2 announcement at Connect 2025. Check the product name carefully: a pair of smart glasses does not necessarily have an in-lens display. For a full checklist, read our guide to buying smart glasses in the Philippines.

Frequently asked questions

When do the glasses go on sale?

Local reports point to Nov. 10. Check the participating store for the model and stock you want.

Are prescription lenses included in the listed price?

The available reports do not establish that prescription lenses are included in every price. Ask the optician for a model-specific quote.

Do all models support the same AI features?

Not necessarily. Verify the exact glasses, phone, account, language and software requirements before purchase.

Why it matters

The reported launch gives Philippine buyers a local route to try and compare the glasses. Until the Ray-Ban starting-price discrepancy is resolved, the useful figure is the written quote for the exact frame and lenses you intend to buy.
