Pros & Cons

What we like

Large 14.6-inch 120Hz AMOLED display with 1600 nits peak brightness
Fast Dimensity 9500 chip with up to 16GB RAM
Only 5.1 mm thin with IP68 dust and water resistance
S Pen included and microSD slot for extra storage
Seven years of OS and security updates

What we don’t

Very high starting price in every market
45W charging is modest for an 11,600mAh battery
Heavy at 692 g for long handheld use
No 3.5mm headphone jack and no NFC
Cameras are basic, with a 13MP main and 8MP ultrawide

The Pipino Verdict

The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra is Samsung's most capable Android tablet for people who want a laptop-sized screen with a pen. The display, chip and seven-year update promise are strong, while the price and 692 g weight are real trade-offs. Based on specs and brand data, not our own hands-on testing.
