Music has a way of taking our minds somewhere else. Sometimes it drowns out the noise of a busy workday. Other times, it revives memories long forgotten or paints entirely new worlds with nothing more than a melody. The best listening sessions happen when the earphones quietly disappear, leaving you with nothing but the music and your imagination.
That’s exactly the kind of experience the HIDIZS MY LIN aims to deliver.
Rather than demanding attention with booming bass or microscopic detail, this HiFi in-ear monitor (IEM) embraces a warm, balanced sound that naturally invites hours of uninterrupted listening. Paired with six sets of silicone ear tips and six interchangeable tuning filters, it lets you tailor the sound to different playlists, moods, and personal preferences without making customization feel overwhelming.

Sound Quality: Why the HIDIZS MY LIN Makes Music Feel New Again

When you start a tune, MY LIN never demands your attention. It greets you with familiar tones, beats, and rhythms. Yet everything flows differently than what you’re used to hearing. While FLAC remains the gold standard for audio quality, the IEM brings refinements even to songs streamed through music apps. Those refinements slowly unfold from one song to the next, from tighter bass and cleaner vocals to lingering echoes.
To see how far that could go, yours truly put the device through eight songs spanning orchestral scores, game soundtracks, Western classics, Thai series OSTs, and Japanese rock. Each track revealed a different side of the IEM while staying true to its own sound.
What I Listened To
- Liberi Fatali by Nobuo Uematsu: I felt the momentum from beginning to end. Every rise led naturally to the climax without bass taking over. The choir stayed intact while blending beautifully with the instruments, which remained powerful without introducing distortion or ringing.
- Dragonborn by Jeremy Soule: Even the subtle percussion stepped into the foreground. As the choir faded, it gracefully made room for the lone female vocal before returning once again without haze or blur. The echoes landed exactly where they should, adding impact instead of distraction.
- Must Have Been Love by Roxette: Originally released as a Christmas title, MY LIN made it feel like true winter. The cold heart, the cold night, and the loneliness in the lyrics became easier to imagine, making the classic even more touching than I remembered.
- Can’t Get You Out of My Head (Abbey Road Sessions) by Kylie Minogue: The string instruments stole the spotlight. Hearing the strings alongside Kylie’s vocals felt like crystal taps across a ballroom dance floor, elegant and impossible to ignore.
- No More “I Love You’s” by Annie Lennox: It didn’t simply transport me into another realm. It blended fantasy and memory into one place, where melancholy quietly met moments from my own past.
- Love Is Everywhere by Boy Sompob: Boy Sompob’s therapeutic voice found the space it deserved. For a few minutes, the song created a world where love truly felt like it belonged to everyone and could be found everywhere.
- Mantra by Keng Harit: The standout of the playlist. Every line felt like a direct stroke to the heart, soul, and mind. The clean vocals made the performance feel personal, almost as if the singer was standing beside me. I simply wanted to hear it again.
- Karano Kokoro by Anly: Strong, powerful, and engaging. More than anything, it brought me back to the world of Naruto Shippuden, reliving the joy, heartbreak, and triumphs that made the series unforgettable.

The soundscape wouldn’t be the same without the excellent sound isolation. It blocked enough of the outside world for each title to breathe on its own, allowing the emotions, memories, and imagined places to flow and stay uninterrupted.

HIDIZS MY LIN Comfort Review: Built for Long Listening Sessions

From cheap to premium headphones, ergonomics has always been the hardest thing to get right. I’ve learned that lesson countless times, especially with earbuds that become uncomfortable long before the music ends. That’s why MY LIN genuinely surprised me. The moment the music started, the earpieces quietly disappeared and left only the songs behind.
Living with the MY LIN
- Longest listening session: 7 hours
- Indoor listening volume: Around 50%
- Eyeglasses: No comfort issues with thick-frame glasses
- Ear tip used: Smallest silicone ear tip
- Adjustments during use: Rarely needed

Comfort Highlights
- Easy fit from the start. The smallest ear tip sealed almost immediately without twisting or repeated adjustments.
- Soft ear tips make the difference. Many IEMs begin pressing against my ear canal after a couple of hours. MY LIN’s silicone tips felt gentler and never forced themselves deeper into my ears.
- Heavy in the hand, light in the ear. The metal shells look and feel substantial, but that weight practically disappears once worn, even with eyeglasses.
- Designed for long focus sessions. Listening at around 50% volume indoors was already more than enough. Combined with the secure fit and solid passive noise isolation, my ears stayed comfortable for hours.
- The cable simply stayed out of the way. It neither tangled nor pulled on the earpieces, letting me focus entirely on work and music.
After seven hours, I finally felt a bit of fatigue. Not inside the ear canal, but around the outer ear where the cable rests. A short break was enough before I was ready to continue listening.
Is the HIDIZS MY LIN Built for Everyday Use?
Comfort goes beyond listening. It’s also about using it every day without constantly worrying about accidental pulls, cable stress, or worn-out parts.
Fortunately, MY LIN takes a practical approach.
Features That Improve Everyday Durability:
- Detachable earpieces. The 2-pin connectors allow each earpiece to be replaced without retiring the entire IEM should one side eventually fail.
- Braided cable. Flexible enough for daily use without feeling flimsy, while resisting tangles throughout my listening sessions.
- Reinforced 3.5 mm plug. The metal housing and strain relief provide additional confidence when repeatedly plugging and unplugging the cable.
- Replaceable tuning filters. Besides changing the listening profile, the filters can also be removed for maintenance or replacement when necessary.
- Pocket-ready storage. The included pouch keeps the MY LIN compact enough to carry without the cable becoming a tangled mess.

HIDIZS MY LIN: Suggestions for the Next Generation
MY LIN is already a convincing IEM. Even so, there are two things I’d love to see in its successor because music listening has changed over the years.
A USB-C Version Would Be Welcome
The MY LIN ships with a 3.5 mm connector, and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that.
The challenge is that many people today listen to music on smartphones, and flagship models have been moving away from the 3.5 mm jack for years. That leaves users searching for a USB-C converter before they can even enjoy the IEM.
Offering a USB-C variant would simply give buyers another choice.
Recommend USB-C DAC Adapters
Not every USB-C to 3.5 mm adapter sounds the same. Some include better DACs than others, while some are designed more for basic calls than high-quality music playback. First-time buyers often have no idea where to start.
That’s where HIDIZS could help.
Even a short list of recommended USB-C DAC adapters on the product page would help a lot.
The Music Always Came First

MY LIN reminded me that a great listening experience isn’t built on sound quality alone. It’s the result of thoughtful tuning, lasting comfort, practical durability, and a design that keeps your attention where it belongs: on the music itself. That’s what made long listening sessions so enjoyable, whether I was working, revisiting old favorites, or discovering new emotions in familiar songs.
MY LIN never tried to become the star of the playlist. Instead, it quietly gave every song the stage it deserved.
