The TikTok Shop app Philippines shoppers can now download gives TikTok Shop its own place to browse products and track orders. The App Store listing names TikTok Ltd. as the developer.
TechCrunch reported on Nov. 5, 2026 that TikTok quietly launched the standalone app in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines. The report says it is available on iOS and Android.
What does the separate app offer?
The Philippine App Store listing describes personalized product picks and shopping through LIVE streams and short videos. It also lists app-only deals, free-shipping offers, secure checkout, order tracking and customer support.
According to TechCrunch, the app-exclusive deals are meant to encourage shoppers to buy in the new app instead of the main TikTok app. The app is free to download, with in-app purchases. Check the developer name and requested permissions before installing.
Do you need to download it?
A separate listing does not mean you must stop using TikTok Shop in the main app. Check the instructions inside your existing app before changing how you shop.
It is also too early to assume that orders, vouchers and promotions work the same way in both apps. TikTok did not respond to TechCrunch’s request for comment, and neither source explains how accounts sync. Before paying, confirm that you are signed in to the right account, your delivery address is correct and the final price includes the discounts and shipping fees you expect.
What about Android?
TechCrunch says the app is available on Android as well. We did not independently check the Philippine Google Play listing. Android users should confirm the official developer in Google Play before downloading.
Why it matters
A dedicated storefront gives Philippine shoppers another route into TikTok Shop ahead of the 11.11 sales. For another look at the season, see our report on PlayStation 11.11 deals in Southeast Asia.
The practical question is whether your account, orders and vouchers behave as expected. Those details matter more than a second icon on your home screen. For payment safety in general, read our report on fake receipt scams in the Philippines.
