Pros & Cons

What we like

50MP 3.3x periscope telephoto at this price
7,000mAh battery with 100W charging
Bright 6.68-inch 120Hz OLED, up to 5,500 nits
Light 199 g and slim 7.3 mm body
Wi-Fi 7, NFC and IR blaster

What we don’t

No Google Mobile Services
No ultrawide camera
Kirin 8020 is a modest chip
No OIS on the main camera
IP65 only, no wireless charging

The Pipino Verdict

The nova 16s brings a periscope zoom, a big battery and fast charging to a light body. Skipping the ultrawide camera and Google services are the key compromises. Based on specs and brand data, not our own hands-on testing.
